Broadcast technology

Restream and broadcast delivery

We not only shoot the broadcast; we also handle technical delivery to viewers: to different platforms, into private access, with recording, monitoring, and a backup setup in case one platform becomes unstable.

Our own infrastructure

Our own restream server, not a third-party service

We run broadcast delivery on our own restream server in the cloud. This gives us control over quality, latency, access, and backup setups: we do not depend on third-party pricing or limitations, and we tailor the scheme to each specific project.

Our own delivery server

Restream, player, and private access run on our server, not on a third-party service.

Control and monitoring

We see the state of the broadcast in real time and keep a backup delivery setup.

Personal dashboard

For managed projects, we provide access to the restream dashboard with a login agreed in advance.

How delivery works

The broadcast's path: from source to viewer

The signal passes through our server and is distributed to viewers via a CDN - with a backup path at every step.

Source

The signal from the venue: cameras, the director's switcher, remote speakers.

Processing on the server

Our restream server: multiple quality levels (adaptive bitrate), recording, and player.

CDN delivery

Distribution to viewers via a CDN, output to the required platforms and into private access.

Backup

A backup channel and delivery setup in case one link in the chain fails.

When you need restream

When you need technical broadcast delivery

Restream and CDN delivery are needed where it matters that the live stream reaches the viewer reliably - in the right quality, in the right place, and without manual fiddling during the broadcast.

Several platforms

The broadcast needs to be shown at once on YouTube, VK, a corporate dashboard, and a private page.

Private corporate broadcast

A broadcast for internal audiences only: restricted access, roles, and a clear scheme of who sees what.

Conference and forum

A large audience and an important event that cannot be re-shot - you need a reliability margin in delivery.

What's included

What broadcast delivery includes

Delivery and player

  • restream to several platforms at once;
  • CDN delivery with adaptive bitrate - several qualities matched to the viewer's connection speed;
  • our own brandable player for embedding on a website or a private page;
  • private access: unique links, password, geo-restriction.

Reliability and materials

  • broadcast recording and rewind during the live broadcast (DVR);
  • technical monitoring of the broadcast throughout;
  • a backup setup for delivering the signal;
  • viewing analytics and a post-event report.
Platforms and formats

Broadcast platforms and formats

We choose a delivery scheme to fit the task: an open broadcast, a private screening, or a combination.

01

Open platforms

YouTube, VK Video, Rutube, and other public venues for a wide audience.

02

Corporate services

A private dashboard, a corporate portal, webinar and video-conferencing platforms.

03

Private page

The broadcast on a separate page with access by link or code - for the intended audience only.

Private access, roles, and data

Who sees the broadcast and who gets the recording

In private corporate broadcasts it is important to decide in advance who sees the broadcast, who manages the output, and who receives the recording and the post-event report. For projects with interactivity, you can connect OnFocus: participants join via QR, a link, or a code, while the team gets separate screens for the hall, the broadcast, the speaker, and the moderator. OnFocus supports reports with KPIs, Q&A, feedback, and audience activity. For approvals with corporate and government clients, OnFocus has documentation on personal-data processing, Russian data-storage infrastructure, and registration as an operator in the Roskomnadzor register of personal-data operators (reg. no. 77-26-549301).
Recording and reporting

What you're left with after the broadcast

Broadcast recording

We save the broadcast for the archive, a replay, or later editing.

Materials for cutdowns

By arrangement, we hand over the source files so you can make clips and short fragments.

Audience report

Number of viewers and watch time, geography and devices, interactive activity (questions, polls), and a participant export.

Monitoring and backup setup

What we do to reduce the risks

We do not promise that external platforms will never fail, but we prepare a margin of safety in advance.

  • We check the delivery scheme and connections in advance, before the broadcast starts.
  • We run technical monitoring of the broadcast in real time.
  • We keep a backup delivery setup in case one platform becomes unstable.
  • We agree on access and roles so there's no manual confusion during the broadcast.
  • A dedicated manager and engineer on the project - available on the day of the broadcast.
FAQ

Common questions about restream and broadcast delivery

Can you stream to several platforms at once?

Yes. A single broadcast can be sent to several platforms at once - for example, YouTube, VK, a corporate portal, and a private page - without manually duplicating the signal.

Can you set up private access?

Yes. The broadcast can be shown on a private page, via a link or code, on a corporate platform, or with restricted access. We agree on the access scheme and roles in advance.

Can I get the recording after the broadcast?

Yes, recording is part of the standard setup. By arrangement, we can hand over the source files and prepare materials for the archive or for cutdowns.

Can you add interactivity and viewer questions?

Yes. For interactivity you can connect OnFocus: polls, Q&A, quizzes, screens for the hall, and an overlay for OBS/vMix, plus an audience-activity report after the event.

What happens if one platform becomes unstable?

We prepare a backup delivery setup and run technical monitoring of the broadcast, so if one platform has trouble, viewers keep watching the broadcast on the others. This reduces the risks, though it does not remove the limitations of external services.

Need broadcast delivery to several platforms or into private access?

Describe the platforms, the audience, and the access requirements - we'll put together a technical scheme and an estimate.
