What "turnkey hybrid event" means
It is not only pushing a picture to the internet. We design the whole setup in advance: what the hall sees, what the online audience sees, how remote speakers connect, where the recording lives, and who manages the broadcast on the day of the event. Hybrid events are one of OKVideo.Pro's core services: based in Moscow, working across Russia and worldwide.

If the in-person part is compact — speakers in the studio, an online audience, and remote participants when needed — the hybrid broadcast can be put together at our venue: cameras, lighting, sound, presentation output, recording, and broadcast support.

Where it breaks
Where hybrid events most often break down
This is useful to know in advance — most problems are solved during preparation, not on broadcast day.
Poor sound in the hall
The online audience hears hum, echo, or nothing. This is solved with properly placed microphones and monitoring of the broadcast sound.
The remote speaker can't be heard
A remote speaker drops out or talks into the void. You need a connection check in advance and a backup plan in case of a drop.
The presentation doesn't reach the broadcast
Slides are shown in the hall, but online viewers see only a talking head. Capturing presentations is a separate task that we work out in advance.
The rough setup ends up on air
Viewers see equipment being assembled, tests, or technical pauses. This is solved with a clear go-live setup and a separate channel for checks.
No backup plan
If the main internet channel goes down, the broadcast stops without warning. A backup channel is a mandatory part of the setup for the hybrid format.
Unclear who manages the broadcast
The director, the organizer, and the venue work out of sync. You need a single point of decision-making on broadcast day.

No VAT. The service provider uses the automated simplified tax system (AUSN). We agree on scope and price before the event. Additional work requires agreement first. Any live extension is quoted as one total covering the crew, video delivery and AI.

Preparation and the live broadcast
One advance venue inspection and internet test. A technical plan, presentation checks, a remote-speaker guide and our own connectivity backup based on venue measurements.
Audio from the venue's working mixer, presentations, a logo, opening slate and lower thirds from your materials; one design approval round. Venue sound equipment, venue hire and any venue internet fee are quoted separately.
The technical venue check is free; the visit within the Moscow Ring Road is included. Transport beyond the Ring Road and travel expenses are agreed separately.
OnFocus + AI
OnFocus is included: one event, one FullHD stream with video delivery and up to 2,000 simultaneous participants in total, within the package's live hours. List- or corporate-domain-based private access, programme, branding, polls, Q&A and a report.
Included AI: captions and voiced translation into one selected supported language for one source stream, within the live hours. Extra languages and parallel streams are quoted in advance.
The directed recording is available as a local file immediately after the broadcast. We upload material from cameras operating in the agreed 4K mode to the cloud on the shoot day; other source formats and completion times for large uploads are agreed in advance. Storage for 60 days, with a free extension on request. The live stream is FullHD.
On-site hours include setup, rehearsal, waiting, the live broadcast and teardown. Each included remote speaker gets one technical test of up to 15 minutes. An extra preparation day, repeat tests, venue sound equipment, stage lighting, a dedicated platform operator, content moderation and API integration development are agreed separately.
Custom project. Multiple rooms, parallel streams, a larger audience or a separate rehearsal day receive a custom estimate with the crew and limits agreed before work starts.
FAQ
Common questions about hybrid events
Can remote speakers be connected?
Yes. We choose a conferencing system, test the connection and picture in advance, and account for corporate network restrictions and time zones. Remote speakers become part of a single broadcast — they are seen both in the hall and online.
Can questions from the online audience be taken?
Yes. Questions from online can be taken via the platform chat, a moderator, or an engagement service. We agree on the mechanics and moderation logic during preparation.
Can access be made private?
Yes. A hybrid event can be run with restricted access: via a link, through a corporate platform, or an agreed setup. We work under an NDA when needed.
Is a rehearsal needed before a hybrid broadcast?
For hybrid formats a rehearsal is especially important. You need to check remote connections, switching between speakers, presentation output, and two-way sound. We recommend at least one technical run-through.
What needs to be at the venue?
The essentials: stable internet (preferably wired), a sound reinforcement system for the hall, camera positions, and the ability to output the picture to a screen. We prepare the full list for the specific format and venue during preparation.
