Sports tournament live streaming

Cameras, direction and a tournament broadcast with the score on screen. The scoreboard and transparent overlay come from our own Match: for its featured sports it pins an edition of the official rules, and the operator enters decisions on the referee's signal. Lower thirds and title cards come from GFX, and several courts are quoted to the tournament rules.

Several courts

Courts, pitches and mats at the same time

Each court gets its own cameras, its own match in Match and its own stream. We watch every output of the event in Control in one window: a failure shows up immediately and the log is kept. The crew and limits for several courts are fixed in a custom estimate before work starts — send us the rules and the schedule.

Questions and answers

Tournament live streaming FAQ

How does the score get on air?

The operator runs the match in the Match control panel, and the transparent overlay of the same event goes on air through OBS or vMix. The venue screen shows the same event, and the server keeps the clock, so the screen and the overlay never drift apart.

Who is responsible for the score being right?

The referee makes the decisions, and the operator enters them on the referee's signal. For its featured sports, Match pins an edition of the official rules, and the match log can be exported as a file.

How many courts can be shown at once?

As many as the estimate covers: each court needs its own cameras, sound and stream. The crew and limits are fixed in a custom estimate before work starts.

What happens if the venue internet drops?

We set up our own connectivity backup based on venue measurements. If the scoreboard loses connection, the Match output holds the last complete frame and catches up with the current score after reconnecting.

Can we get a recording of every match?

Yes. We hand over the directed recording as a local file immediately after the broadcast, and each match as a separate file if needed. We store it for 60 days and extend storage for free on request.

Can we run the scoreboard ourselves?

Yes. Match is free and needs no sign-up: an event is created in one click, and the control panel runs in a browser on a phone or tablet. We join where cameras, direction and the broadcast are needed.
