AI event translation on your guests’ smartphones

Guests scan a QR code, open a page on their smartphone and listen through their own headphones. We connect the audio, check selected languages and support the event. The standalone service starts at RUB 10,000 per hour; OKVideo broadcast packages already include captions and voiced translation into one supported language.

How participants access the translation

Scan a QR code

Open a browser page without installing an app. Place the QR code on a screen, signs or the event programme.

Choose an available language

We prepare the list for your event. Interface, text-translation and voice languages are separate capabilities; supported combinations are confirmed before the quote.

Listen or read

Participants need a smartphone, headphones and internet access. Captions and voice tracks follow the agreed scope; latency is checked at rehearsal.

What the organiser receives

An agreed scope

The estimate specifies source, text and voice languages, hours, streams and simultaneous audience. Extra languages are priced before work begins.

A check before the broadcast

We test speech, names, terminology and audio quality. Latency and accuracy depend on pronunciation, terminology, acoustics and language.

Technical support

An engineer monitors the signal and works with the organiser. A translation editor, attendee contact centre and venue sound equipment are separate services.

Use cases

Where AI translation fits best

International conference

Foreign guests and speakers follow the talks in their own language while the programme stays unified.

Forum with delegations

Parallel sessions, international delegations, press scrums — translation is available in every hall.

Corporate event

A town hall for a global team, a visit from international colleagues or partners, strategy sessions.

Launches and presentations

Product presentations and press events with international media and partners.

Tours and showrooms

Factories, production sites, demos for foreign delegations — the translation follows the guide along the route.

Online broadcasts

Viewers open the translation page next to the player and listen to the speaker in their own language.

If an event calls for a human interpreter — for example, negotiations with legally significant wording — we also offer the classic setup: multilingual broadcasts with interpreters.

Standalone service: setup and technical support

Before the event

We agree on text and voice languages, source stream, audience and duration. We connect the audio mixer, prepare the page and QR code, and test the speaker’s voice. Setup and the technical check before the event are part of the agreed shift.

During the event

An engineer monitors audio and the system, and helps the organiser guide participants. Captions on venue screens or the broadcast follow the chosen scope. A dedicated platform operator and individual support for every attendee are agreed separately.

Standalone AI translation pricing

Minimum booking: 2 hours. These starting prices cover one source stream and voiced translation into one supported language. We agree on the simultaneous audience, hours and text tracks before booking. Extra languages and parallel streams are separately scoped extensions.

Languages, voice tracks, parallel streams, duration, audience and the support crew are quoted explicitly.

When OKVideo produces the broadcast

Every standard broadcast package includes OnFocus for up to 2,000 simultaneous participants, one FullHD stream with video delivery, captions and voiced translation into one supported language within the package hours. This included work is not charged again. Standalone free OnFocus for up to 300 simultaneous participants does not include AI tools.

No VAT. The service provider uses AUSN. Scope and price are agreed before the event; additional work requires approval first.

Questions about AI translation

How accurate is AI translation?

The result depends on language, clean audio and terminology. We test sample speech and difficult terms before the event. For negotiations and wording where an error is unacceptable, we can agree on a human interpreter or editor; AI is not a promise of error-free translation.

What is the translation latency?

Translation follows the speaker with a delay. We test it with the selected languages and connection setup and account for it in the programme. We do not promise identical latency for every language and venue.

Do guests need to install an app?

No. A QR code or link opens the page in a smartphone browser. Voiced translation requires guests’ own headphones and internet access.

What does the venue need to provide?

A clean signal from a working audio mixer and internet access. We check available connections in advance. Venue sound equipment, any venue internet fee and additional backup are specified in the standalone AI-service estimate.

How many participants can connect?

The standalone estimate specifies a simultaneous-participant limit before the event. An OKVideo broadcast bundle includes up to 2,000 simultaneously for one event; a larger audience is quoted separately.

How is standalone AI different from AI included with a broadcast?

A separate booking covers AI setup and technical support for your event or broadcast. An OKVideo broadcast package already includes captions and voiced translation into one supported language within its live hours; extra languages and streams are quoted separately.

Which languages are available?

Before quoting, we check the source language, text-translation languages and voiced-translation languages separately. The interface language list does not mean every language supports text translation and voice. Confirmed combinations are stated in the estimate.

Should we choose AI or a human interpreter?

AI can help an audience follow talks in another language. Complex negotiations, legally significant wording and nuances of a speech may call for a human interpreter. We compare scope and cost for the same programme, languages and duration.
